Marketing & Social Media Specialist

Responsible for social media management, content creation, and customer service, this is a unique opportunity to wear many hats and have a respected voice within a startup company.  To succeed within this role, you must be passionate about writing, diligent about staying on top of the latest social media and marketing trends, and showcase great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Writing / Content Development—Excellent writing and editing skills about the benefits of 100% cold-pressed juice and all that goes into the business of cocktails and mixology.   Optimize brand messaging on social channels, bring branded visual content strategies to life and collaborate with outside influencers to create buzzworthy content that helps us market, support and sell products.

Social Media—Develop and implement strategic plan to grow social media audience and drive leads.  Must understand how we use social media outlets to reach our target audiences. Must manage, tweet, post, re-tweet and make suggestions on a daily basis.  Strengthen the brand and engage our community in social media channels, such as but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.  Organize and support community-relation events and activities, including coordination of promotional efforts through social media for such initiatives.

Social Advertising— Strong understanding of how social advertising fits into how we communicate within the industry to ultimately increase sales.  Must be able to develop and execute social advertising campaigns in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.

Public Relations— Understanding of the basics of PR is a plus (i.e., media relations, pitching, messaging, etc.).

Measurement— Effectively monitor and measure social media as well as online and traditional media, and provide weekly/monthly performance/campaign reports.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, with at least one to two years experience in digital marketing, client experiences, social media/network management, or content development and execution required.
  • Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms, including; Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Google+, Instagram and more
  • Basic familiarity with various software programs such as Sprout Social, WordPress, Microsoft programs, Google Docs, etc.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for cocktails, mixology and the bar/restaurant/hospitality industries.
  • Ability to manage resources from within and from outside of Industry Juice, such as external agency partners.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing preferred.

Customer Service Associate

Required to help support our rapidly growing customer base.  This position is a unique opportunity to wear many hats and have a respected voice within a startup company.  The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and has an empathetic, problem-solving approach to helping customers!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as product expert to process customer and sample orders accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to up to 50 calls and emails daily while consistently providing quality service, accurate answers, and timely follow-through
  • Attend to website requests (informational or sampling)
  • Maintains customer database by entering any new and updated customer and account information
  • Troubleshoot/resolve customer issues regarding shipments, order entries and inquiries
  • As needed, serve as Company representative at industry events (i.e., festivals/ sponsored events after hours or on weekends)
  • 15-20% travel around the city, making product or sample deliveries

Requirements:

  • High School Degree, or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer support or customer-facing role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets)
  • A high level of organization, ability to prioritize and self-initiative
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Online, digital, or fulfillment experience a plus
  • Basic familiarity with various software programs such as WooCommerce, QuickBooks, Blue Commerce a plus
  • Passion for cocktails, mixology and the bar/restaurant/hospitality industries
